Volunteer Opportunities

TBM is currently looking to add some volunteers to our organization for some key positions. Please see the positions and descriptions below. If you are interested in one of these positions or know someone who would be, please email volunteer@thebaronsmen.org to let us know! 

Advisory Board Member

The Advisory Board Member’s (ABM) role on the Board of Directors (BoD) of TBM is to advise and assist the BoD in pushing the organization’s mission and goals forward. The ABM brings unique knowledge and skills to the organization that augments the knowledge and skills of the BoD in order to more effectively guide and manage the organization. While the ABM may not have formal authority to govern the organization, they serve to make recommendations and/or provide key information and materials to the BOD. They will also play an important public relations role as well as providing much needed expertise and support. Tasks could include member retention, volunteer management, sponsorships, and/or fundraising. 

Graphic Designer

The graphic designer will help to develop/maintain a digital presence, assisting with marketing, creating visual assets and promotional images for events, and designing printed materials. Examples of tasks include, but are not limited to: designing posters, flyers, and postcards; designing DVD covers for our show recordings that will be sold via Amazon; and designing show sliders and ads.

Video Editor

The video editor will assist with the recording of our theater productions, editing the videos together for digital release and potential print release as needed, and creating and editing event trailers for marketing purposes.

Volunteer Coordinator

The volunteer coordinator helps organize and manage all aspects of volunteering, including advertising volunteer opportunities, training new volunteers, and keeping a database of volunteers and their skillsets.

Fundraising

The fundraising volunteer will help with creating and executing fundraising events for TBM. We’re very interested in capitalizing on corporate sponsorships and sponsorships in general. The successful fundraiser will be willing to work with the Board of Directors and the Co-Artistic Directors to create fundraising opportunities that are within the scope and mission of TBM.

Show Volunteers

We need people to help with the Box Office/concessions and help direct parking. If you'd like to help out during the run of a show, and see the show FOR FREE, check back here or subscribe to our newsletter to get notified when volunteer sign-ups open.
